Blood, Sweat and Tears
The work to create Buena Vista Wildlife Safari & RV Park started many years before we started building roads and fences. Initially, we worked to rehabilitate many of the buildings in Evant in hopes of reversing the “Walmartization” of Small Town America. One of the many hardworking and dedicated people who invested blood, sweat (a lot of it) and tears is Randall Rigney.
Some know him as the go-to guy for all maintenance problems, but he also did sewer and water improvements, plumbed and framed, wired and assembled much of the park. No one knows Evant or Buena Vista as well as Randy does.
In addition to his many amazing talents, he is a musician who teaches, a paramedic who saves, a former mayor who leads by example, an aspiring brisket chef, a doting great grandfather, and a friend to all who need a hand. We are proud to have him on staff and honored to call him both friend and co-worker.
